Naotake Kakishita , President and CEO
Naotake Kakishita is president of Kubotek USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kubotek Corporation. In this role, Mr. Kakishita is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company including the evolution of the product line and the formation of the M3 vision of an integrated design and engineering process. Mr. Kakishita has over 30 years of experience in engineering, research and computer-aided design (CAD) technologies. Early in his career he served as a research assistant at the University of Tokyo's Institute of Space and Aeronautical Sciences where his research included 3D modeling technology.

In 1998, Kakishita joined Kubotek Corporation, where he has served in upper-level managerial and director-level positions. In December 2003, upon the acquisition of CADKEY, Inc., he was named president of Kubotek USA. Prior to Kubotek, Kakishita served as an independent software developer, working on high-level projects including development of complex tool path generation software for Computer Vision and 3D CAD development for NEC. He also led projects for the Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Kakishita is also the founder of Precision Modeling Laboratory Inc., which develops GHL (Geometry Handling Library), a general propose 2D/3D geometry calculation library. 


Mark Parent, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Finance
Mark Parent serves as chief operating officer and vice president of finance for Kubotek USA. Mark is responsible for expanding the sales, distribution, and marketing infrastructure of the company. He draws on his twenty years of sales, financial and operational experience to drive critical business objectives. 

Prior to joining Kubotek USA, Mr. Parent served as controller for The MacGregor Group, where he helped raise $32 million dollars in private equity financing and embarked on a five-year strategic growth plan. In previous roles, Mr. Parent has managed both U.S. and international operations for both entrepreneurial and mid-sized companies.


Robert W. Bean, P.E., Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President, Robert "Bob" Bean is channeling his twenty years in the CAD industry to advance the strategic direction of Kubotek USA. Bob also acts as the company's technology evangelist to cultivate new technology partnerships and major account relations. He has been a staunch proponent of leveraging open data formats and geometry-based technologies to help Kubotek customers increase productivity and decrease costs. 

Prior to its acquisition by Kubotek, Inc. in 2003, Mr. Bean was the president and CEO of CADKEY, Corp. He founded Baystate Technologies, Inc. in 1989 to market his creation, DRAFT-PAK mechanical productivity software. Prior to Baystate Technologies, Mr. Bean, a certified professional engineer, was employed by Worcester Polytechnic Institute's (WPI) Manufacturing Engineering Applications Center (MEAC). 


Takeo Fujitani, Senior Vice President of Technology
Takeo Fujitani has achieved almost two decades of experience in engineering, project management and CAD technologies. As vice president of technology at Kubotek USA, Takeo is charged with driving product development. In this role, his responsibilities range from managing the company's research and development to production and quality assurance.

In 1995, Mr. Fujitani joined Kubotek Corporation as development manager in the Creation Engineering division. During his tenure with the company, Mr. Fujitani's duties included numerous aspects of research and development, and product management responsibilities. Prior to Kubotek, Mr. Fujitani worked as an engineer for Kubota Corporation, while he was completing his physics doctorate course work at Osaka University. At Kubota, Fujitani was focused on planning and development of a 2D CAD tool and programming a testing system.


Dr. Paul Stallings, Vice President of Development
Dr. Paul Stallings provides the strategic direction for Kubotek USA's engineering software products and oversees the company's development team. As a technology innovator with 20 years of engineering and software development experience, Paul understands the value of delivering quality solutions to the marketplace.

Prior to joining the company, Dr. Stallings led a core development team for ACIS, a product of Spatial Corp., the first commercially available 3D modeling kernel and one of the engineering industry's most widely used 3D component modelers. He is the principal author of the ACIS Space Warping patent. While working for Spatial, he was also able to leverage the experience he gained through his prior work with EDS Unigraphics, Pipkins, Inc. and the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground.


Bill DeAngelis, Vice President, Sales
Bill DeAngelis is a 20 year veteran of the CAD industry. At Kubotek USA, Bill leads the indirect sales channel program. He is responsible for managing the recruitment and productivity of channel partners across the Americas.

Prior to joining Kubotek USA, Mr. DeAngelis led the training and support effort for think3 Corporation's East Coast region. There he worked directly with customers and resellers to ensure users achieved rapid and effective application productivity. Considered a customer advocate, DeAngelis has a reputation for establishing strong relationships with a broad range of companies using MCAD solutions. Taking advantage of his deep product knowledge, DeAngelis has played an important role in developing and expanding distribution channels. He has also held key sales, engineering, support, and technical marketing positions at Parametric Technology, Computervision, and Teradyne.


Scott Sweeney, Vice President of Business Development
Scott Sweeney has been with Kubotek USA for three years. In that time he has been the Vice President of Sales and Marketing as well the Vice President of Corporate Accounts. Mr. Sweeney has more than 25 years of management, sales and marketing experience. In his role at Kubotek USA, Scott is responsible for development of the growth of the sales channel for the Americas.

Prior to joining Kubotek USA, Mr. Sweeney served as director of facilitation at Leadership Dynamics where he provided training in leadership, executive coaching and sales to more then 2,000 executives from all walks of business ranging from Fortune 100 firms to entrepreneurial start-ups. In his 10 years at Leadership Dynamics, Sweeney was a three-time winner of the "Facilitator of the Year" award. Prior to Leadership Dynamics, Mr. Sweeney spent seven years in management and marketing positions at Digital Equipment Corp., where he managed the marketing communications for the $1 billion memory products business.
